LIVERPOOL star Mohamed Salah has asked for time to consider a stunning move to Real Madrid, big reports in Spain have claimed.
Liverpool star Salah is on Real Madrid’s radar following a stunning first campaign at Anfield.
The Egypt international struck 44 times for the Reds, driving them to the Champions League final in the process.
There, Real Madrid went on to take the title with a 3-1 victory after Salah hobbled off for Liverpool following a collision with Sergio Ramos.
Despite that, the Egypt international remains on Real’s agenda.
And Spanish outlet Don Balon say Salah is refusing to rule out a stunning move to the Bernabeu.
The Liverpool hitman is currently in a race against time to be fit for the World Cup in Russia.
And it appears his future, like his injury, will dominate headlines until the competition kicks off.
Real are reportedly hopeful that Salah will join with the Liverpool forward taking time to consider their interest.
Don Balon even boldly say the La Liga giants are planning to test Liverpool’s resolve with a ‘tempting’ offer this summer.
And whether he chooses to stay at Liverpool or jump ship remains to be seen.
Meanwhile, Hibs manager Neil Lennon thinks Salah’s injury on Saturday cost Liverpool Champions League glory.
“Football is all about split seconds, moments in games. That’s a split-second moment, where there’s a physical challenge,” he told BBC Sport.
"He actually gets the ball, the referee waves play on.
“If Salah had got up and jogged on, no one would have been talking about it.
"[We’re] overanalysing this because Liverpool lost their talisman and it did have a psychological effect on that game."
