ARSENE WENGER has revealed when he will decide his next career move after leaving Arsenal,The Frenchman called time on his 22-year tenure earlier this year, splitting opinion in north London.
A section of Gunners supporters regularly called for Wenger's head in recent years.
But the 68-year-old persevered before finally announcing his departure in March.
Wenger has previously insisted he wants to remain in management away from England.
However, the former Gunners boss now appears unsure over his next destination, but has admitted he will aim to make a decision over his future before the World Cup begins.
"It's just too soon to know what I will do next," he told the Guardian.
"I have not even emptied my desk yet and in a way, I am still in a state of shock.
"I am going to give myself until June 14, the day before the World Cup begins, to decide.
"The question is do I still want to coach, to be on the bench, or is it time to take up different functions? The one thing I can say for sure is that I will continue to work.
"But do I want to continue to suffer as much?
"I want to continue to defend my ideas of football, that's for sure.
"Spontaneously, I would say I still want to coach, but I can't really say that yet for sure."
Mikel Arteta has reportedly agreed to take over at Arsenal this summer, with an official announcement expected in the coming days.
The Spaniard was personally endorsed by Wenger last month.
