Liverpool have made the France international one of their top targets with claims circling this week that a deal is done.
It has prompted scores of Reds supporters to inundate the attacking midfielder with Twitter messages begging him to join.
“Come to Liverpool Fekir,” wrote one while another said: “@NabilFekir - when is Liverpool gonna announce you as their next player?”
But one fan went the extra mile by using Photoshop to put Fekir’s face on a Liverpool player’s before tweeting him a link.
Posting under the @hiro585869 username, the account knocked up four Fekir images alongside the message: “We want to see you soon."
Although the deal is by no means done. It was today claimed Liverpool may end up missing out on Fekir due to interest from Bayern Munich and Atletico Madrid.
Fekir has remained coy over his future but appeared to say his goodbyes to both fans and players in the French club's final home game of the season.
But club president Jean-Michel Aulas is now planning to play hardball over the attacker's potential move to Anfield.
According to L'Equipe, the Lyon chief is hoping new interest from Bayern Munich and Atletico Madrid will drive Fekir's price up this summer.
The 24-year-old will warrant a transfer fee of around £50million.
Liverpool are looking to complete the signing of France international Fekir before the World Cup gets underway on June 14.
Jurgen Klopp, who has already landed Naby Keita and Fabinho, wants to quickly piece together his squad ahead of next season.
But according to VAVEL journalist Mootaz Chehade, Fekir is in the bag.
“Nabil Fekir to Liverpool is a done deal,” Chehade wrote on Twitter.
“Announcement expected in the upcoming days.”
