Arsenal which team could not take part in the last season of the Champions League because in last season, they failed to make it to the top four in the Premier League. So, they sacked their coach Arsene Wenger and now, they have a new manager. The current manager of the Gunners is Unai Emery who was in charge of the French club Paris Saint Germain earlier. Now, under his guidance, the Gunners are doing great. In their last match in Premier League which took place earlier today at the Emirates Stadium, the Gunners beat Bournemouth. Yes, David Luiz’s only goal led the Gunners to the 3rd position in the Premier League.

The target of Unai Emery is almost clear. He wants his team to the Champions League. In the last season, Arsenal played the UEFA Europa League and also made it to the final. But against Chelsea, they could not bring the trophy at the Emirates Stadium. Now, if they can keep their performance like that, they would get the chance to play the UCL next season.

The Gunners finished the last season of EPL standing in the 5th position. They were 28 points behind than the top-ranked holder team!

In the whole match, both teams struggled hard to create chances. The match was almost boring but in the end, David Luiz made the difference. Based on the goal of the Brazilian defender, Arsenal, the apprentices of Unai Emery has been promoted to the 3rd position on the point table.


At the Emirates Stadium, earlier today, Arsenal won by a 1 – 0 goal. At the home venue, the Gunners went ahead in the 9th minute of the game. Pepe made the corner and with an amazing headshot, David Luiz found the net. The Gunners which team went ahead in the beginning and in the first half, they possessed the ball most of the times. But could not keep their shots on the target. In the end, a chance came to the English star Chambers but his head went outside of the crossbar.

In the 2nd half, Bournemouth started to make attacks. In the 54th minute, the guest team found a chance but the shot of Stacey was stopped in exchange for the corner. Ten minutes later, another good chance was destroyed by Chambers. So, the home team left the ground with the victory.
