LIVERPOOL star Mohamed Salah may be fit for the World Cup in Russia after refusing to rule out playing for Egypt this summer.
Liverpool forward Salah hobbled out of the Reds’ Champions League final with Real Madrid at the weekend with a shoulder injury.
Sergio Ramos collided with the Egypt international, consequently plunging Salah’s World Cup in doubt.
The Liverpool star will be his country’s talisman going into the tournament - if he can make it in time.
But he was giving nothing sway when ambushed by a reporter for Spanish TV at an airport today.
La Sexta published footage of Salah being bombarded with questions from a reporter.
But the player refused to verbally reply - only at one point did he even seem to react to the questioning.
The journalist jumped Salah as he was walking with a suitcase and asked: “Will you play at the World Cup? Are you ready? Do you expect to start the World Cup?”
Salah then moved his head from side to side, suggesting there is still doubt over his World Cup dreams.
The questioning continued, without reply.
“Do you think that Ramos injured you intentionally in the Champions League final?” the journalist said.
“Is it possible for you to play at Real Madrid next year?
“How are you? A lot of people worry about you and your injury.”
Eventually Salah walked off.
