ARSENAL boss Unai Emery is reportedly desperate to complete three transfers this summer,The former PSG boss was appointed as Arsene Wenger’s successor last month following the Frenchman’s departure.
Wenger left north London after 22 impressive years with the Gunners, which saw him win three Premier League titles.
And according to Spanish news outlet Don Balon, Emery wants three signings for his new side
They say the Gunners boss has told Emirates transfer chiefs to sign Villarreal winger Samu Castillejo, Asier Illarramendi of Real Sociedad and Getafe defender Djene.
Don Balon add that Emery knows he doesn’t have cash to spend this summer, forcing him to scout well and sign players under the radar.
Emery will have around £70m to spend, with Arsenal adding £20m to the transfer budget.
The Gunners are refusing to splash the cash and keep up with Manchester City and Manchester United this summer.
Emery has been vocal on Arsenal’s transfer plans, with the ex-PSG boss revealing he plans to develop the current squad.
“I believe we can grow with the players we have,” he said.
“The objective is to work hard together and with these talented players.
“It’s very important for the club, after two years outside the Champions League, to work to be the best team in the Premier League and also in the world.”
