Real Madrid continue to be linked with Liverpool star Salah with their attempts to land PSG’s Neymar likely to fail.
Neymar is Los Blancos’ priority target going into the summer transfer window, with Real keen to make him the perfect partner for Cristiano Ronaldo in attack.
PSG, however, are determined to rebuff all offers for the 26-year-old, who only joined from Barcelona 12 months ago.
And Spanish website Diario Gol say Real are now aggressively pursuing a deal for Liverpool’s Salah.
The report claims that Madrid are already aware of how much it will cost to sign the Egypt international.
Club president Florentino Perez thinks £190million will do the trick - but also wants to lessen it by including a current Real star in the deal.
Diario Gol also report Salah wants a wage of £22m a year to quit Liverpool.
But this is where Real foresee problems arising.
It is said that, by demanding such a high wage, Madrid heavyweights such as Cristiano Ronaldo and Sergio Ramos may block a deal.
In a bid to get around that, Perez is weighing up whether to give Salah a huge £43m signing on fee.
He would then pocket a wage of £11m annually, meaning the overall cost of a deal could be nearer the £300m mark.
Meanwhile, Salah has been tipped to swap Liverpool for Madrid by Egypt legend Hany Ramzy.
"I think he makes history for an Egyptian player and this is very important," Ramzy told ESPN FC.
"Also that all the world can see that Egypt has talent.
"And about the question if it is better for Salah to stay at Liverpool or transfer himself to another league, I think all the media are talking about Real Madrid or Barcelona.
"For me, Salah is ready to make this step. For him it’s time. It’s the right time to transfer or go to Real Madrid, especially I think Real Madrid as the way they play could be a very, very good transfer for Salah, because he makes everything this season with Liverpool.
"He was their best player, he was the top scorer and if he waits until next year maybe he has not [got] the chance [to move]. Maybe he loses his level, maybe he has an injury, we don’t hope so.
"But I think at the moment that Salah can go to Real Madrid or Barcelona maybe but I see him in Real Madrid, [being] more comfortable."
